The Ranger Foundation is a retirement home for horses that have given years of service to people. The horses come from a variety of working backgrounds.   In accordance with our charter, ONLY service horses that have come from institutions such as military, law enforcement or therapeutic riding facilities are considered for acceptance.  Read more about us...

Our guiding principle is to provide quality care to horses that have given most of their lives working in service institutions to benefit people. Carrying out this mission provides a wonderful opportunity for educational programs in horsemanship for all those involved.

Sorry, but The Ranger Foundation is unable to accept any additional service horses at this time.
Our hearts go out to all horses that need a forever home; we wish we could care for them all.
Become a "Friend of Ranger" by making a donation in memory or honor of someone special...either two- or four-legged.   Simply send us a note along with your donation telling us about that special friend.  Read more about other "Friends of Ranger"
The Ranger Foundation is seeking donations of 1st class postage stamps to cover the costs of our summer mailing.  Each book of stamps helps!

Also, we are in need of items from our "Wish List" of badly needed services and supplies to care for our horses.  Please consider donating, remember its tax-deductible too!
