Our Horses Horses
that are retired to The Ranger Foundation have provided a
service to humans through their work in the armed forces,
police departments, military academies, therapeutic
riding programs or similar service organizations. Read
each horse's story of service and retirement
below. Applications
to retire a service horse can be downloaded here.
Please note that ONLY horses that have served in one of the
above named organizations will be considered. Sponsorship
for certain Ranger horses is available. Each horse's
individual bio below identifies if they are in need of
sponsors. Some
of the Ranger horses are available for adoption to carefully
screened individuals. However, ownership of the horse will
continue to rest with The Ranger Foundation, Inc. |
