The
Ranger Foundation is located at Greenbriar Farm in rural Washington
County, Maryland. The farm is 300 acres of permanently preserved
agricultural land adjacent to Antietam National Battlefield.
The
main horse barn has 8 stalls for working with horses or housing
any that need to be stall kept. This barn has a heated tack
room for volunteers to escape to on cold winter days! The
majority of horses live in small compatible groups with run-in
sheds and acres and acres of pasture. Our hay is made on the
farm.
A
100x200 foot riding ring is available for an occasional ride
or lesson and for hosting Ranger events such as our biannual
Geriatric Horse Jubilee horse show. A round pen is also used
for the many educational activities of the Ranger Foundation.
