The
Ranger Foundation could really use your help with trimming
its budget and some hooves. Horses need to have their hooves
trimmed by a farrier every 8 weeks. For your
donation of $40.00, a Ranger horse will get a hoof trimming,
and you will receive a polished and painted horseshoe to hang
over your door. Tradition has it that a horseshoe previously
worn by a horse brings good luck to the building it hangs
in. A horseshoe pointing up will catch and hold good luck
for you, and a horseshoe pointing down lets good luck flow
upon all who come and go through the doorway. Either way,
let our horses have a part in sending pleasant thoughts your
