LUCY
Name:  Lucy

Date of Birth: Approximately 1992

Breed:  Argentinean Polo Pony

How horse came to Ranger:  donated to the Ranger Foundation in October 2001 by Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA. And, like our Nina, she is (was) a very valuable Argentinean bred polo pony. A permanent ligament injury sent this sweetheart to us.

Interesting characteristics or anecdotes:  Lucy produced the winning $1000 poop at the 2003 Road Apple Rumble!! She has been invaluable as a horse to teach beginners about horse care. She is so quiet and loves interacting with humans. Once about 10 girl scouts were brushing her at one time and she stood quietly, untied, and reveled in the attention.

Favorite Ranger Buddies:

Sponsorship:  Lucy was Adopted by Volunteer Susan in November 2004.
