Name:   Poco Pour Point

Date of Birth:  April 7, 1970, our oldest girl

Breed:  a registered palomino Quarter Horse 

How horse came to Ranger:  retired from the Star Equestrian Center in the fall of 2001. 

Interesting characteristics or anecdotes:   We have a picture of her winning several 4-H championships at the Virginia State Fair and other photos of her with her beautiful babies. She is a very calm and quiet mare who wrapped up her working life at Star Equestrian Center, a riding facility for the handicapped. 

Special care needs:  

Ranger buddies:  Now she spends her days in a big pasture followed by the ever present Gary Owen, an old coot of a horse that can't stand for her to be out of his sight.

Poco passed away July 12, 2007.
